The new 2017 Honda Accord sedan has a new Sport Special Edition trim level this year, which adds a number of sporty premium features, such as heated leather seats with red stitching. The 2017 Accord continues to be available in both Coupe and Sedan body styles, with a wide variety of trim levels and the choice of four- or six-cylinder powertrains.
The 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine and 3.5-liter V6 engine offer plenty of power and excellent fuel economy. Buyers get the choice between the smooth CVT automatic or engaging six-speed manual with the four-cylinder engine or either a six-speed manual or automatic with the V6.
This year all Accord models received updated styling, new LED exterior lighting, a more rigid body and upgraded wheels and tires on select models. The 2017 Honda Accord also offers the latest technology, including an available 7-inch Display Audio touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support.
2017 Honda Accord Sedan and Coupe models have also received the highest available crash safety ratings from both NHTSA and the IIHS. When equipped with Honda Sensing safety technology, the 2017 Accord is a Top Safety Pick+ thanks to its suite of advanced driver-assist features.
“Accord continues to set the bar in its class with customers making it the top retail selling car in America for three years running,” said Jeff Conrad, vice president of the Honda division. “We’re proud to offer an expanded lineup with the new Sport Special Edition and the 2017 Accord Hybrid as we continue to advance Accord’s position as a true benchmark in its class.”
